Workshop: Get out of your Mind and into your Art

Do you feel stuck creatively? Would you like to paint from your heart rather than your head? Have you always wanted to explore abstract painting and mark making, but not sure where to start? Then this workshop is for you.

In this one-day workshop we will explore the psychological blockers to the creative process and how you can respond to these to get into your creative flow. Then we will be working with drawing, ink and painting. You will learn strategies to free yourself up so you can create from your heart instead of your mind.

All materials provided. Paper, also suitable for painting is available, but you are welcome to bring your own canvas/boards if you would like to work on something bigger/better. If you have any other paint or materials you’d like to experiment with – favourite pencils, brushes, pastels etc. feel free to bring those as well.

ONLY 4 participants in this workshop, for plenty of individual support. The workshops is held at my art studio in Gerringong NSW, the perfect environment to relax, explore and experiment. Tea and lunch break with the best view in town – the green rolling hills, and if we are lucky, the cows will be roaming outside.
